Sunday school is provided for children ages 3 years old through high school.
Our Sunday school time is 10 a.m.- 10:50 a.m.
Opening Exercises for PreK through Grade 5 10:00-10:15 a.m. in the Loft

Nursery
- A nursery is provided during all Sunday morning worship services and during the Sunday school hour. A nursery is provided during the Wednesday Night Alive program. During other events, if you need nursery care available, please contact the church office in advance.
Bright Start Preschool - a ministry of Vermont Street UMC
8:45-11:15 a.m. Classes run September thru May.

Children three years of age on or before Sept 1st and toilet trained are eligibile for the Vermont Street Preschool. Christian Education is incorporated into our curriculum through stories and snack time prayer. Christian living is stressed rather than church doctrine.

Mom's Day Out

Mom's Day Out is a one day per week childcare for families who do not need day care, but have a weekly need for childcare. Nurturing supervision is given in an appropriately equipped environment.

Children will explore play centers including fine motor manipulatives, construction, cognitive skill development, games, puzzles, dramatic play, books, etc.

Gross motor activity either indoors or out is included along with a snack.

This is the perfect way for moms to plan their appointments and volunteering activites knowing that weekly, consistent child care is available.

Ages: 6 weeks to 5 years

Times: September - May 8:45-11:45 am; Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday

*Kids Musical- Children Kindergarten through 5th Grade
- Rehearsals 7-8:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall (call the church for dates, usually Sept - Dec)
*Youth Group (Grades 6-12) - 6-8 p.m. in the Loft (off during summer)
On Thursdays...
Pit Crew Puppet Ministry for 5th grade youth and older. This group brings the message of God's love to our worship service and to the community through the use of puppets.
Meets on Thursdays from 6-7:30 p.m. (off during summer)
